First up, Mirror by KAGAMI WORKS.

This may be at the bottom of the list, but still made quite some cash.

Having a starting price of only 2$ has led the game to selling at least 2 million copies.

So what about the gameplay?

Mirror mixes RPG and dating sim elements.

It does this with the, arguably boring, "Match Three" Genre.

Similar to games like Candy Crush, a game your mom probably plays.

The game's loop is a turn-based RPG where you decide your moves based on a match three board.

After winning, you continue the story and repeat.

The game's difficulty can make it feel a bit mindless, but the if you want to make it harder for yourself, you can choose to play the challenge stages.

While the gameplay is fun in short bursts, the writing and story are kind of mediocre.

With a pretty basic gameplay loop, an okay story, and somewhat engaging 'cutscenes', Mirror gets a 68%.

But for such a low price tag, it is almost impossible to go wrong.

2. Nekopara Vol.1

Next up is Nekopara Vol.1, an animated visual novel by NEKO WORKS.

It's a fully voiced novel, with sound, and visuals.

With an engaging story, great art, solid pacing, and well-done animation.

Nekopara Vol.1 earns a well-deserved 86%.

1. Koikatsu Party

At the number one spot, we have Koikatsu Party by Illusion.

The gameplay is a basic dating sim loop, in which you have to pick the right dialog options.

But instead of only romancing premade characters, you can also fill the school with ones you create.

The real complexity is found in the character creator and in-depth studio.

These allow players to create any chartacter they want, and make custom scenes.

The base game is censored, but you can install the official un-censor mod by the developers.

With the game coming in at a staggering $59.99, it can put some people off.

Yet the game also has a big community that is constantly adding more content in the form of mods.

Most mods add more customization and characters from popular anime, allowing you to fuck your favorite characters.

Rating this game is challenging, if you just want to play this game for the game part of it, then it's a 69%.
